On behalf of our chapter, welcome to Alpha Omicron Pi at Auburn University! We are so happy to be able to give you a glimpse into our sorority and introduce you to the 270 women that make it so special.

Here at AOII, our national motto is “Inspire Ambition.” This rings true throughout our chapter and encourages us to push ourselves everyday, in all aspects of our lives. Between academics, philanthropy, leadership, and more, we are committed to excellence in everything that we do, and we strive to use our talents and gifts to better those around us. More than anything, the women in AOII foster an environment where every single member feels constantly supported and confident in their goals and ambitions-whatever those may be.

However, the strong values represented by AOII call us to do more than to excel by service— they call us to love each other wholeheartedly. We believe in loyalty to one another and are a tight-knit group of women working together to build each other up. From standing in our “AOII corner” at every Cater callout to encourage our girls that have interviewed, to cheering on our Tiger Paws and Danceline members every gameday, to hosting Bible studies and fellowship dinners, to simply bringing members coffee to help get them through a late night of studying, we support each other in everything that we do.

The sense of love and belonging that I found in AOII cannot be rivaled and I am so incredibly thankful for that. In this sorority I have been lucky enough to find people that will love on me as well as push me, making me look at things from a different perspective and challenging me to understand opinions and ideas that are different from my own. This has helped me grow as a person and as a friend and the people that I have met in AOII have made me proud of the woman that I am becoming. To me this is what a sorority is. It is so much more than movie nights and dinner parties, although those are super fun too! It’s finding a group of girls that will celebrate you for being yourself and are willing to support you and stand with you for the rest of your life. That is what AOII means to me and what I hope it will mean to the next generations of AOII women.

I am incredibly thankful for this authentic group of women and the opportunity to know every one of them. Each member brings her own story, her own passion, and a fresh personality and heart—and together, these members form the Delta Delta chapter that we cherish so dearly. We hope that you enjoy learning about Alpha Omicron Pi and love it just as much as we do!
